Our November C.O.P. meeting will be on Nov. 14th at 5pm in the conference room at city hall. No matter how trivial you think an issue is, BSO wants you to call. The purpose is to make a record of events.
Do not call the office. They cannot help. You can call the non emergency number 954-764-4357 and of course, 911.
CRIME REPORT: Detectives conducted a traffic stop on a known subject. He had several outstanding warrants. During that apprehension, they discovered a variety of drugs. He was booked into the main county jail. On another occasion, deputies spotted a reckless driver who almost hit several pedestrians. When they were able to stop the car, the driver took off on foot but was apprehended…Two calls were received by BSO dispatch re: a domestic disturbance by a female. The second one was when she attacked her husband with a baseball bat. When deputies arrived, she immediately attacked them and was charged with assault on LEOs (Law Enforcement Officers). Lastly, with the heavy rains we endured yet again creating some serious flooding in our city, BSO used the two high water trucks purchased for just that event. Several people in the city were rescued.
FIRE RESCUE REPORT: Our Dania Beach Fire Rescue team responds to more fire and medical calls than any other city in Broward County.
